Wim Wenders is one of those eurotrash affected "Oh, look at me, I'm an intellectual, artistic european (as opposed to crass american)film maker' types who drives me mad. City of Angels, and didn't he make Paris Texas, which was another movie that made me want to gouge my own eyes out just for something to do while it was on. Well, I made the mistake of Tivoing this dumb show, and really, I can only say thank god for the fast forward function - got it all over and done with (once I'd realised my misake) in about 15 minutes. Shame really, because I like Gabriel Byrne and Bill Pullman - not keen on Andy McDowell - bit conceited for no reason, IMHO, but what a waste of good film this movie was.
