I really do not understand why this film isn't more well-liked

It's a real throwback to late 60s/early 70s EuroHorror films, with of course a heavy Omen influence as well.

It's not that I do not understand the complaints that those not so fond of the film have expressed, but those complaints could be just as well lobbed at most EuroHorror from the era I mentioned. I would expect more fans of those films to dig this one, too.
