The scathing remarks written about this movie in other online marketplaces like Amazon and others don't appreciate the realness and believability of the movie's dialogue and plot. The "Realness"(and I admit, the sometimes quirky acting on the part of Victoria Foyt) may throw off some, but serves as an interesting contrast to the abstract commentaries on "destiny" and "fate" throughout the film and in the end, the two qualities seem to harmonize.
I thought this film, one of the most romantic I've seen and have also bought the tape. The end scene was particulary romantic and music, perfect.
There is a soundtrack but you can just as easily get the songs off Amazon or Itunes.

I really enjoyed this movie when I saw it on cable years ago and have been trying to find it again for awhile, since its title is rather forgettable, and I couldn't recall it. Recently I ran across the name of Stephen Dillane, which rang a bell. Sure enough, I looked him up at IMDb, and voila!
I'll be sure to look for it online now that I know what the title is.
Wow, I haven't seen this movie for a year or two. This is one of those movies a women wishes would happen to her. Apart for the fact the people in the movie are already taken and married, but isn't that how real life happens sometimes... I have had those moments where I believed in soulmates, but don't really do anymore. Would love to hear a classic soulmate story and maybe I would beieve soul mates and true love really existed.
Nevertheless, I loved the movie, and its one of the hidden classics... : ) Watch it, if you haven't... : )
I really loved this movie; I've never seen anything quite like it. Some people didn't care for Victoria Foyt's performance, but I found her sort of endearing in a way. And I thought Stephen Dillane was perfect for this part.
I haven't met my soul mate, but I still believe that some people do meet their soul mate and that things work out happily.
I like the scene between Dana and her fiance when he tells her that the thing between her and Sean is "lust," and she replies that it's not about sex. I got the sense that the bond between Dana and Sean was a true, deep love connection where the physical was just a manifestation or expression of the genuine love occurring between them on a deep soul level. Very different from lust.
