about j.d. hogg and jesse duke

the way i remember those 2 was that they were close friends at frist up till a member of jesse's family won a ridge running contest agianst a member of the hogg family.

those 2 certainly had a fued going between the 2 of them. me i figure it was not by any means a blood fued or anything lethal like that.

the only way i can properly describe there fed woul be to call it a sometimes serious/sometimes not so serious sort of fued. ;like what some folks down in the southern states have from time to to time.

sure each of them would be wearing a deep and bitterly scowl on their face whenever one's full name was mentioned in the direct presence of the other and yeah each of them had their reasons for never fully trusting one another. for the most part though i always got the feeling that whenever each could find the other in a particulerly good mood on the same pleasent day, well during thoise times it was like each continued the fued more out of a mutuel desire to get a real good laugh going at the others personal expense.

those 2 shared a rather unusual friendship that's for sure even as somewhat bitter enemies.

i suspose one could say they went from being the best of friends to being the best of enemies.

sort of like that movie grumpy old men in a way.
