what was the disease he had in the movie

Unknown probably something devastating like cancer

They said that Nick couldn't drink. I assumed that all the drugs he'd taken had led to liver failure and that's what was killing him.

I always thought it was AIDS. Probably from needles and junk. That's why I thought his lover staying with him made their relationship seem stronger thematically. He seemed like he lived a Dont Give a Flock attitude and a gutter life.

Cancer it wasnt aids if it was aids his girls would have had it then the other guy wouldnt have slept with her

i assumed it was Leukaemia because his aunt said someone had had that and lived for a couple of years.
