Hold That Tiger?

Does anyone know what became of the animatronic tiger that appeared in the operating room scene? Is it still intact in a Hollywood warehouse somewhere? Was it used in any other movies? Who designed it? How was it operated? How much did it cost to create? Oh, what I'd give to have a toy like that!!
