WOOF-WOOF! NEIGH! MEOW! SHUT up + answer these questions!

#1. Chauncy says he can't stand listening to his owner. But if he obeyed her quickly, she wouldn't be yelling, & repeating things over & over. By the way, was Chauncy's owner the same actress who portrayed Nurse Kelleye in M*A*S*H?

#2. When John throws the ball for the dog, why did Rodney say,

You can't save 'em all, Hasselhoff.
?

#3. What is a motor strip?

#4. Could someone explain these numbers, & tell me what "normal" is & how bad these are?

B.P. 161/114 --- Pulse 96

B.P. is Blood Pressure.

161/114 is the pressure exerted on the blood vessels measured in millimeters of mercury (mmHg).

The systolic blood pressure, the first number, is exerted on blood vessels only in short bursts following ventricular contractions (heart pumping).

The diastolic blood pressure, the second number, is when the heart is at rest and is the pressure to which blood vessels are exposed to the majority of the time.

The numeric difference between your systolic and diastolic blood pressure is called your pulse pressure.

A typical (human) male might have a BP of 120 over 80, but 'normal' BP can vary from person to person and even due to time of day.

Pulse 96 is the amount of heart beats per minute - typical values for a male (human) at rest is 70-80 beats per minute.

Idk if this was answered or not but I think when he said 'CANT SAVE EM ALL HASSLHOFF" he was referencing David Hasselhoff who played a lifeguard in Baywatch. Just meaning that as a lifeguard you won't have 100% survival rate! same as with doctors. BTW I know his post is old as idk what, but I just watched the movie Again and decided to browse the board

All was well.

Ah. I didn't think of the Baywatch reference. Thank you. PLEASE keep this answer here. The others have deleted their posts, so I can't reference them, it's like "unanswering" my question.
