A respectable English-subtitled DVD version is finally available from Russia:
It's NTSC Region-Free, anamorphic, DD 5.1 French, and English subtitles, much better quality that the non-anamorphic UK PAL English-subtitled version and much better than the Full Screen Pan&Scan Hong Kong English-subtitled version.

They carry a wide range of hard to find titles such as Ryûhei Kitamura's *Versus* or Alejandro Jodorowsky's *El Topo*.
My experience with them has been first rate with DVD's arriving in less than a week with an online payment and no complaints about the quality of the disk.
The quality question is important because if there is a problem with a transfer (many of the films I buy are 20 or more year old HK Kung Fu classics) to DVD/Blu-Ray they will spell it out plain and simple so one knows exactly what one is paying for.
The price has been dropped from 14.95 to 9.95 till August 24th.
