Skip the Second Season (Spoilers)
The first season of Dilbert is great - despite a few blemishes, it seems to faithfully follow the comic strip and truly parody working in an office, corporate life, content of the strip, etc. For example, in the episode 'Holiday', Dilbert delivers a poigant speech about how holidays have lost all their meaning.
However the second season seems to be less-based around Dilbert at work or dealing with projects, subordinates, co-worker issues, frustrations with his boss, etc. and instead focuses on Adventure-of-the-Week plots where Dilbert:
a) gets pregnant
b) finds his Dad in a mall
c) has to return a computer
d) hosts a meeting at his house
e) joins the company baseball team
f) goes to jail
etc
It seems like the show either got new writers, ran out of ideas or something by the time the second season started.
