Angel Heart is a masterpiece of darkness. Devil’s Advocate verges on parody. I put it in the same league as Shortcut To Happiness (with Jennifer Yum Love Hewitt as Old Scratch and; a retelling/theft of The Devil and Daniel Webster) with a lower budget.
Angel Heart is the best movie about the Devil ever made. Period.
