I just had a thought. What if Pacino put Keaanu back in time only to get a chance to try and convert him in a new way, and Pacino would do that forever, trying to get Keanu to commit.

But I felt it was definitely God that gave Kevin another chance. Mostly because Milton was so VERY upset at Kevin killing himself. I don't see him getting that upset if he knew he could simply reset the entire setup.

But I don't think Milton knew what Kevin would do, and as we've seen, WE don't know how Kevin will proceed either.
He's already shown he's unpredictable.
Plus, just because Kevin goes on TV doesn't mean he'll literally go to Hell.

Exactly!^ I always had a feeling that though Milton/Satan will still pursue and tempt Kevin, it's ultimately Kevin's choice to whether or not to give in to EVIL. Because even Satan himself had no idea that Kevin was so unpredictable like he was, as you pointed out. What are the chances that Kevin may make the same decision of free will a second time when or if his father try to get him to turn to the dark side again? He underestimated him before and it'll likely happen again.
