If there was any doubt to him playing Batman again, this movie shut it down. They could've given Keaton one more Bat-film to play the role in after this was done.

As I recall, Keaton left Batman Forever of his own accord, because he didn't like the direction that Schumacher was going in... Nothing to do with them not wanting him, anymore.
By the time of this movie's release, the franchise was shut down until Nolan's reboot, anyway.
