Wild Strawberries

We all know how much Woody loves Bergman. I saw Deconstructing Harry today and I thought it felt so much like Woody's version of Wild Strawberries. A guy goes on a trip to get honored, while revisiting his past, the choices he's made, etc. It's kinda like how Stardust Memories was Woody's version of Fellini's 8 1/2.

I've seen about 20 Woody Allen films so far and, I gotta say, this one is heavily and unjustly underrated. Definitely cracked my top 5.

Well spotted! This movie really is a love-letter to Wild Strawberries, just as you said. Same with Stardust Memories. They're two of my favorites he's ever done.
