This film is too vulgar

I thought it was really unnecessary.

reply

Agree. I specially hated the explicit sex scene between Elaine Benes and Adam Quark. Not necessary, not funny, not even the quote from the blind auntie...

reply

That scene was absolutely hilarious!

reply

Come on, that's one of the funniest scenes ever put on film.

Vulgar character = vulgar dialog. Compromising the integrity of the story for your delicate sensibilities would be truly "vulgar". What are you, 14?

Maybe the next time you go to new york you could go out and buy yourself a skin?

What I don't understand is why people watching Woody Allen films are worried about vulgarity. There's been plenty of rather unsavory topics discussed in many of his films; it's just that most of them don't use the Famous Seven. I don't understand why people don't have a problem with the things that go on in his movies, but they DO have a problem with the way he talks about them. In his films, Woody could "sleep with" as many women as he wanted, maybe even "have sex" with them, but he can't f any of them without someone talking about how vulgar it is.

reply

Oh Christ, open your bloody mind. This film is far from vulgar, it's humorous!
