well its quite simple, does anyone know the name of the song, music that is, that opens the hell sequence ... i think the same thing goes in Manhattan?

I don't know the name of the song but it was made famous by a "drum battle" between Gene Krupa and Buddie Rich.

Its called "Sing Sing Sing" it was written by Louis Prima. The most famous version was recorded by Benny Goodman and his orchestra.

It was also in Manhattan Murder Mystery, the scene where Paul dumps Miriam's body into the molten steel. Makes you wonder if Woody associates "Sing Sing Sing" with Hell imagery! I seem to remember him using it another time in the same context...maybe not. Still, hmm.

YES, i wonder the same thing. maybe not true, but i also wondered if 'sing sing' and the prison, Sing Sing...... Prison being where the wife murdrer will go, and prison=hell. whadya think?
