read outside article before watching the movie

thats my suggestion...i watched the movie first, and though it was okay, i felt i missed a whole lot of minor things....then i googled it, and found the outside article by jon k....reading the book probably might be the best thing to do, but everyone can't find time for one...so, read the article, and then watch the movie...you will be able to appreciate it a lot better that way...i did..

Be aware that Krakauer himself has written that there were inaccuracies in the original article. In order to meet his deadline, he relied on his memory and note-taking which he admits were impaired by the altitude. When he went back to write his book, he researched and interviewed surviving members of the ecpeditions in order to get more of the details correct. He discovered that some things happened in a different chronological order than he originally remembered.

That was a stupid thing to say. This story has been covered extensively and it is acknowledged that the JK account is the closest to the real events.

So why is he full of crap as you claim him to be? His final account of the events, the book Into Thin Air, was not just his own version of the story but a combination of everyone's version.

CGI SUCKS
