really good movie.

I first saw this movie a few years ago on TNT or something. It's on right now again on Lifetime so I'm watching it, and it's very good, and also very sad. It angers me and makes me want to kick that bastards ass every time I see it for killing her and abusing her like he did. I hate him.

reply

I know. It was horrible what he did to her. I really liked the movie.

I've seen this many times, and after watching again last night, finally decided I should also post...this is indeed and EXCELLENT movie. It's one of the few TV movies I find myself compelled to watch completely every single time I see that it's on. Excellent acting, intriguing storyline, excellent writing, and not boring for even a moment. I'll be sure to continue watching it whenever I can.

it was a good movie. Very sad what happend to her and this movie told the story well.

yes it was bad but its also her fault for staying
yea yea ppl are gonna tlak crap in a minute to me but seriosuly she haad money n lawyers she could have thorwn his ass in jail if she really wanted to leave him.i rahter have my child father-less than haver her/him gorw up w an abusive dad

ya i totally agree with asia06-1. Ms. Anne Scripps was quite a rich lady, worth $900 million in trust funds, she could have easily hired the best lawyers in NY to kick Douglas out of her house and into jail and gain total custody of her child. I feel almost that she brought this upon herself, even after many many warnings from her daughters and friends. I wish she had been more courageous and bold to fight an abusive man life Douglas.

asia_06-1 and shuback , its not as easy as you think. I have friends that went through this kinda crap. Its not like you can just get up and leave. Its complicated and people that go through this are lied to and convinced to stay. So I don't think it is her fault AT ALL. Please do you're research on battered women.

I just wanna suck on a weenie!-Anna Nicole Smith

I know this may be off subject, but does anyone know what happened to Alex, Annie and Tory? I've been trying o research it, but I can't find anything.

reply

I've been wondering that too in the past 10 yrs or so after seeing the movie. Here's the only link I can find about the custody battle for little Tori which was in 1994:

Great movie if it installed all those feelings to everyone above.
