I wonder also if Scott intentionally killed himself or was it an accident? Alex says he was way too selfish for suicide.

Maybe he didn't mean to kill himself. Perhaps he only wanted to make it look like that's what he had done. He threw himself into a river in the middle of winter and I believe an article that I read said that he had $507 in his pocket when his body was found. Doesn't sound like someone who was feeling remorseful, sounds like someone who wanted to go on the run. Maybe he tried to fake his death, but it didn't work out the way he thought it would. Suicide is a very selfish act, but people usually do that when they're sad or depressed and so they're not thinking about who they leave behind. I find it hard to believe that he would do that either.

i really think that he killed himself because A. he knew he was going to get caught and B. the guilt was to great. i'll take him killing himself anyday.
