MOVIE NOT MADE IN 1997 OR 1999

These dates simply reflect VHS release dates. I tried to change the date but it was rather difficult. This movie was actually made in 1987-88. It wasn't released in the US until the late 90's, likely because Brad Pitt gained such wide popularity. Anyone who has seen the film can understand why it wasn't released when he was an unknown. People seem to think he made this around when Seven was being made, but come on, the film is clearly old and why would he do this project when he was so acclaimed? You can easily tell he was much younger then anyway.

I thought this movie was hiliarous, and a bit of a rip off of the Boy in the Plastic Bubble (w/ John Travolta). Gotta love his pizza face at the end.

I recently caught part of this movie on late night tv as well and found it very hard to believe it was made in '97. The TV guide info on my TV screen was saying '97, and I thought "no way". Brad Pitt was already a mega star in '97 and he just looks too young. Plus the fact that the clothes look very '80s. I didn't watch all of it, how does it end?

yes,this is thrue beacouse last week brad is confirm that this movie is his first movie so can be realesed in 1987 or 88.

If you all read the synopsis before the messages you would know why it was not released till 1997 instead of discussing it? BUT yes it was made in 1987

movie was made 88 ex yugoslavia,but because of war in ex yugoslavia some parts of the tape were lost in different parts of yugoslavia(interesting plot for some documentary)and then later in 90s it was found and sent to producer who then made vhs!so thats is the reason movie never saw sun in 80s!

This movie was made in 1988 in Montenegro (i live in Montenegro so i should know). I've read an interview with Andrew Horton, scenarists of this movie where he said that this was the first movie made by Brad Pitt. Something like he (Andrew) had a friend in Warner Brothers and he told her that they don't have much money and if she could find them an actor. Brad Pitt was chosen because he was cheap :-)

Another interesting fact about this movie is that it was never released in any way in Montenegro, so I actually never had an oportunity to watch the movie.

Film nikada nije prikazan u SCG ali ja sam g agledala pre 10-11 god na VHS-u. Tako da znam kakav.. nista posebno'! Najbolje je to sto mu majku igra mIlena Dravic i kad on skida masku i pogleda se u ogledalu i kaze: Boze Licim na Majku!! Da crknes od smeha!!

It was his first film. It was made in late 80s and it was never released. I read interview with the director. Brad was rolling on the ground of happiness when he got the role.
