Ripping off Hellraiser

I did enjoy Dark City a lot but I was amazed by how much the director ripped off the cenobites from Clive Barker's Hellraiser when conceiving of the strangers:

1. The pale faces and bold heads look just like Pin head but without the pins
2. The costumes were like the black butcher's overalls worn by the cenobites
3. The chattering of teeth
4. The hell bell clock chime
5. The general clinical attitude towards experimenting and murdering humans

Does anyone else agree? As I say, the movie was pretty good, but I think some props need to go to Clive for basically coming up with the idea for the strangers here!

Ripped off so many better scifis from the era. Just a *beep* *beep* *beep* movie all over
