When I saw this movie I lost all faith in Burt Reynolds. The looks were
still good (pre cosmetic surgery era), but OMG what a bad movie! Burt,
if you read this: how could you do it? The greatest star of all time
playing in a video-disaster. Bad music score, bad cast, bad storyline
(if any). I can't believe how a superstar with agents can accept this.
Agents were sleeping when offering this I think. I think the director
wants to pretend a film noir, an underground movie. I acknowledge the
fact that an actor never knows how a movie will turn out when working
on it. But this is even worse than Stroker Ace. The biggest star of the
seventies is abused in this movie. To consider that he made this right
after the masterpiece Boogie Nights is unbelievable. What happened? The
agency and director should be send to jail for making this piece of
*beep* What a pity , destroying such a great career.
