Actual conspiracy theories

Any one have any interesting conspiracy theories?

reply

There's one going around that some people actually believe kerry would make a good president.

My mistake for bringing politics into this. I apologize.

How about, "there's a theory going around that people will one day live in peace".

I think this board is an actual conspiracy theory... what with all the deleted posts by administrator... It just makes you think that someone got too close to the truth so their post got wiped out... hrmmm food for thought.

He would be better than the one that is doing "President" impressions now. You know the one I mean, the one who wasn't voted in, but still took office.

Not to keep on this issue but I suggest you take a look at this article:
http://www.nysun.com/article/4180

Here is just a little excerpt from the article:
"With 93% of precincts reporting, Mr. Bush has won 55.6 million votes. That is more than the 50.5 million votes he won in 2000, far more than the roughly 47.4 million that President Clinton won in 1996 or the 44.9 million that Mr. Clinton won in 1992. More Americans voted for Mr. Bush for president than have voted for any other presidential candidate in American history, more even than the 54.5 million who voted for Ronald Reagan in his 1984 landslide."

reply

more people participated in the vote than most elections

Is it possible that the population.... is increasing? No way

reply

worse than bush is now? is that possible? anyway you must be happy now that bush won months ago and kerry is nothing but a forgotten candidate...

Well, here in Tucson, I found...in a pawn shop, a movie titled "Conspiracy Theory," and it DIDN'T star Mel Gibson. Just leafing through the holdings you understand...

Then I went into the large DVD & VHS rental box...Hollywood Blockbuster, and found the more familiar tape. I didn't watch either.

Is it just possible that the latter, successful movie was a remake of an English/Northern Irish/or Irish movie that saw little success? The same thing happened to a Robin Williams film I did see--made in Alaska; it was a remake of a Scandinavian film. Don't remember the title...saw the Robin Williams version.

My top conspiracies, in no particualer order:

1. G W Bush, his brother Jeb, and thier Dad's supreme court appointees conspired to get George elected.
This is a good conspiracy because it has enough weird aspects to make it a possible conspiracy, but not really any solid evidence to back it up, just speculation. And if one loks at the facts surrounding this election, it is pretty clear that Gore blew his chance (losing home state of Tennessee and Clinton's home state of Arkansas) and got lucky in other places (Barly won New Mexico, Oregon, Iowa).

2. G W Bush knew about the 9-11 attacks, but allowed them to happen (some accounts:set them up, or had people set them up) so he could invade Iraq and get oil.
This one is kinda rediculous because it seems like a lot of trouble just to get some oil. Assuming Bush had this kind of power, it seems like it would have been a lot easier to drill domestically (Alaska, off-coast, Wyoming), or to go into a less high profile region like Azerbaijan.

3. Hilary Clinton: "Vast right-wing conspiracy"
This is just paranoia. You have to be pretty gullible to believe that the entire right in America joined together to try to get Bill Clinton out of office during a time of reletively few international or domestic crises, then failed. I gaurantee, the if this "conspiracy" was as "vast" as Hilary thought, it would have succeeded.

4. JFK Assassination
Possibly the top conspiracy of all time, I dont think anyone can say for sure that they knew what happened this day. Magic bullets, possible CIA plots, and Oswald's later assassination all add up to great conspiracy theories.

5. Tonkin Gulf Incident
How and why did the Vietnam war really start? Was it soldiers making a mistake and firing on a fishing boat, soldiers acting under orders to start a war, or soldiers doing what was right and responding to a legitimate threat?

Other good conspiracies: Tupac and NOTORIOUS BIG killings, Alien abductions, Origin of statues on Easter Island, How the Pyramid's were built.

I'll get away from politics and say the Kurt Cobain suicide/murder. Personally, I think Courtney Love had a strong hand in it, and I do believe he was murdered. Whatever you want to believe, read the facts. Just type in "Kurt Cobain Murdered" in Google and see what pops up. You'll get alot from both sides.

Also, watch Kurt and Cortney, a documentary by Nick Broomfield. Very interesting, and has a great ending.

You want to see some greal good juicy stuff on Bill Clinton, try to see if you can find a movie called, "The Clinton Chronicles." It is the Farenheight-911 of the Clinton era. He interviews the Arkansas State Troppers who drove Clinton to his hookers. He talks with the aircraft maker in Mena, Arkansas that got a loan from Hillary Clinton (A.K.A., Whitewater) for conversion of the nosecone to portage. It was one of those airplanes that later crashed and the nose cone was full of South American cocaine. Turns out that the pilots that died were hired by the CIA. The official reports said it was cocaine to be used for controlled buys. Only problem with that is there was enough confiscated cocaine that had been cleared for destruction, that no mission was needed to gain more supplies.
He interviews the superior court judge in Arkansas who actively tried to get Clinton impeached while governor. The judge heard evidence of Clinton's many crimes committed while in Arkansas.
Did you ever wonder why Clinton had so many problems while serving 8 years in office? I realize that America was in love with him. I also realize that after Vince Foster was killed, nothing had changed about Clinton. The Clinton Chronicles eludes to the pile of bodies that are tied to Clinton in one way or another. I guess that is the nature of our system of politics. If you are good enough to crawl up a pile of bodies to make it to commander in chief, I guess we deserve what we get as a country!
Oh, one last comment.
Clinton actually was behind the 9-11 events. He put them into place as a trigger mechanism in case the Democrats lost the oval office. Not to say he actually planned the attacks. He made things NOT happen to allow them TO happen! Or, another way to say it is that he was fully warned of what was going to happen, then he decided only to tell others about it if the Democrats were re-elected.
The rest is history, and he made sure his NYC offices were plenty of miles away from the "action."

If you want to know what really happened with JFK, look up E. Howard Hunt. He gave what he thought was a deathbed confession to his son, and it was on tape. He ended up living 3 more years, unexpectedly, but the son still had the tape and released it after his death, per his father's wishes. The short of it is, there was more than one shooter, French Hitman Lucien Sarti took the killshot from the grassy knoll, LBJ was the one who put it all together. Cord Meyer was an eager participant because JFK was doing his wife(although they were no longer actually together at that time, if I remember correctly, and she was murdered not too long after JFK). I found his confession to be very believable, and credit it as the truth of what happened.

Sometimes evil is just applied stupidity-Ronar

reply

JFK was killed by the Mafia. You see, his campaign was funded by teamsters, controlled by the Chicago Mafia, mainly Sam Giancana. It was agreed that if they gave him the money, his administration would leave the Mafia alone. But, instead, his STUPID brother, becomes Attorney General, and goes right after the Mafia. That is why JFK was killed, so his brother would lose all power. Then when he ran for President, he was killed. I read that Sirhan Sirhan was a MK Ultra assassin, but only about 75% on that. Anyone think I'm wrong?

Cult Leader my mind's frightening, I drink blood from a human skull like a Viking

reply

Ok that Clinton conspiracy is just about the dumbest thing I've ever heard... if the evidence of these tapes is so bountiful and so concrete, then why has nothing been done about it? Unless, of course, Bill Clinton has hushed up the authorities by killing more... In fact, I bet that's why the last person hasn't posted again!! Oh no!! Slick Willy got him too! Save yourselves!!!

reply

That is the exact reaction I desire to see from my post. Because if just one single argument in Farenheit 911 was true, then Bush would already be on death row in a federal prison. When F911 came out, nobody cared about the truth of the so-called documentary, they just went to see it by the bagillions. When The Clinton Chronicles came out, people stayed away from it by the bagillions.

People in Arkansas knew about Clinton's womanizing and considered him to good of a leader to let them think bad of him. It is much like it is with just about the entire Kennedy and Shriver families in New England.

Getting away with murder takes layers of protection and immunity. In my state, one well known former state senator is reputed by all who know him (love or hate) to be behind murders for hire, wire fraud, extortion, election fraud, loan sharking, people peddling, contract fraud, illegal alien fraud, and tax evasion. As it happens, he is a prominent Democratic Party leader with former strongholds over 10 states. He just finished his 6 months of home detention for federal election rigging. The FBI is just getting started with him if he survives. He conveniently came up with a myriad of health related problems.
By the way, the only reason he was convicted is because some of his closest friend rolled on him. This could eventually happen to Clinton.

Oh, here is IMDB's link to The Clinton Chronicles:
http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0433674/

If you watch it, you can always look to it as a comedy if you don't believe all the stuff they managed to dig up on old willy!

no one really takes Moore too seriously. Ex: in bowling for Columbine he gave inaccurate date for Canada's crime rate and minority population. America has 1.4 times Canada's murder rate- not too much of a difference. Also, Moore compares such data as Germany's handgun murder rate against the US' total violent (this includes suicides) rate- yes 600 to 10000 (6-year averages) is a big jump, but when you take out US suicides, (or add in german) and account for the fact that the US is 10x the size of Germany- you almost get the same number. Moore wasn't sued for slander because he isn't taking too seriously in the political community. EX 2: in Fahrenheit you see him asking senators "would you send your kid to Iraq??!?!" A senator looks stunned and the camera moves away. His reply was something along the lines of "well i dont have a son but my nephews are all in iraq". also, moore says funny things like "would you send your children to iraq?" as if military service was something your parents decided. Moore also made up the scene with a bank giving him a gun in bowling for columbine and faked footage of Charlton Heston. (bowling for columbine) well not faked- but he took several sentences of Heston's and strung them together in a way that completely changes the interview. if you watch closely youll notice hestons outfit, stance and hairstyle change mid sentence-this is from Moore swapping out random words and throwing in other sentences, such as "from my cold dead heands!" that quote came 6 years before the next line heston speaks in columbine, which , with the way moore edited them together, is made to sound like a fluid, long reply to the death of a young girl. I can't recall the whole sentence restructuring, but basically a young girl was killed. in real life by a gun just before an NRA meeting. heston said this was a terrible tradgedy, called together a quick NRA vote and voted to cancel the parade, hearings, party, etc. the NRA left out of respect for the dead girl's family. as moore tells it, Heston still had the NRA meeting- this is true, he took a 7 day meeting and had it last about 3 hours because he was legally required to do so. and yet for some reason, Moore plays images of Heston laughing hysterically and talking about how happy he is. this image plays directly after the news (during his movie) that a little girl died. we are meant to believe heston delighted in the little girls death-strange then that heston looks much younger in that footage of him laughing...oh thats right, it was taken from a party many years ago, where heston was just given a gift from a friend that made him cry. of course, moore doesnt tell the public stuff like that- he states a girl died, then shows images of men laughing hysterically in a vain attempt to get you to dislike them. i dont know Fahreheint 9-11 as well, (im certianly not paying to see a moore film) but i do know F911 has many similar scenes. a shot of bush playing golf with during a peace summit (look at his golfing buddy-recognize the prime minister of britian? the UN council? ) is played over and over again "our preisdent plays golf!! how dare he!" was moores statement. wow. a man working 70 hour workweeks plays golf at the end of a week long peace summit. how dare he. clinton played the sax and had interns for breakfast, but that didnt matter. but oh no, bush plays golf with the leaders of the free world.

im not a huge bush fan, since the iraqi war is a bit too expensive. but michael moore? please. moore wont be sued for slander because no one cares. moore is a rich white man who calls himself the savior of poor black men. (watch the end of columbine) hes grossly overweight, greasy and looks like hes wearing pajamas all day everyday, yet he feels the need to write "stupid white men." he felt F911 would destroy the bush presidency and create overwhelming support for democrats-instead, more people voted for bush the second time around, even with a trillion dollar war on his hands.

simply put, moore is a fool, and can say whatever he wants whenever- only a few extremists take him at all seriously.

the right pays attention to Moore, but only as an amusing old oaf. from his ratty, dirt stained jeans and tshirt and uncombed hair to his driving around in ice cream trucks, he's not perceived as a threat at all. And i am hereby admitting that Bush and friends helped family members get out of the US. that really proves nothing, bin laden had thousands of family members who had nothing to do with the WTC attacks. whether they did or not, that has nothing to do with moore-it was pretty common knowledge or at least rumor that bush did such a thing. as moore himself is concerned, as to his dishonesty, i never said moore was dishonest. he did show skewed minorty data, but he was talking about a city, not a nation there. what moore does it not a lie-he simpyl states data in such a way that he cannot be taken seriously. when he mentions handgun deaths of the US, this is obviously including suicides. Yet for some reason, he directly compares US gun deaths to forgein Gun murders- Japan's 61 gun murders a year seem pretty scary next to the US' 15,000 gun deaths. But add in japanese suicides like Moore added in with the US-and oh look, you have about 7,000. With a population in japan about 1/2 of the US- hmm you get the same number. Moores filmaking style IS his substance-miscommunicated facts that are illogical to compare together. if you can disprove to me that Moore was referencing US suicides AND murders and mentioned only European murder rates, feel free. In fact, heres something even easier for you. Throughout Columbine Moore would talk about Canada as havingsuch a tiny number of murders. Wonderful. did you also know that Canada has a population only three times that of a large American city? Not so impressive. Moore is not taken seriously because he uses the most laden and inaccurate terms to get his point across. He compares the murder rates of countries with 1/12th of the American population and shows how they have 1/13th of our murder total. Thats great- but Moore will only say this country here was 1/13th of our murder total. He doesnt bother stating that the same country has precisely 1/13th of our total population. The US is not the leader in handgun death, nor is it even close. He says Britain and Canada have next to zero crime. Canada has half of the US' minority population per 1,000 people. and the US has twice Canadas murder rate. He then talked about how Britian (3% minority) and Germany (8% minority) are so much safer than America...with a 30% minority population. Hmm....did Moore accidentally prove minorities cause crime? maybe hes just racist. Or better yet-Michael Moore is a grossly overweight man who made a commerically successful rant of a movie that proved nothing. Yes, his numbers are true. But they are arranged and fed to us in such a way that they are meaningless. You can't compare Handgun deaths of the US against handgun murders of a country 1/10th the US' size. Handgun deaths= suicides, murders, accidents- about 6,000 a year in the US. plus 5,000 murders- take germany's murder rate. add suicide rate. multiply by the difference between the german population and the US. what do you get? 12,000. not much of a difference at all. i saw half of fahrenheit 9/11 and laughed hysterically. 77% of US troops voted for Bush. over 54% of american voted for Bush. sure, moores film made money. so did Dude, Wheres my Car? Neither was taken seriously.

The Canadian crime rate is 1/2 that of the US, Newfoundland(part of Canada) and England is 1/2 of the Canadian rate. Since it is a rate it does not matter how many people live in Canada 30 million or 300 million. Rate = #people murdered/100,000 people.
US murder rate is one of the highest in the world, that is what moore is saying and it is correct! Too many guns make it too easy for people to whack each other. Guns don't kill people though, People kill people so there is much more to it than guns.

I know this one is going to sound weird, but maybe a group of people traveled back through time and kidnapped both Kennedy and Lincon because the future (or there present) was screwed up because of what these guys did. (Could have something to do with both presidents being pro-black) Then they some how managed to makes clone Lincon and Kennedy, put them back in the past (which could explane why there is a 100 year diffrence between the two presidents births and deaths.) Then hypnotise people to assasintate them. Of course they couldn't just assinate the presidents themselfs, they needed someone to take the blame, then they hypnotised more people to assasinate the assasinators, to make sure all the ends were tied up.
What do you think?

Well said! Also, The US has 7X the number of people in jail per capita as Canada. US sentences are too long to serve any purpose than long term incapaciatation. Canada is more focused on rehabilitation and has a lower recitivism rate. The US needs to create social programs and younger education programs to curb their crime rate as in Canada. America would be able to do this by cutting thier military.

Ronald W. Reagan, Sr. isn't dead. He wasn't ever senile. He's following somebody around, still trying to manipulate events, and be a "winner" rewriting the history books...guiding the outcome(s) he finds politic.

Also, Johnny Carson didn't die either.

(As a side note, when Mao Tse Tung was interred, they used a wax-works dummy. It seems too much embalming fluid was used, and his head and neck were terrifically swelled. Didn't look life-like enough to put on the necessary public display...)

Just took this snip off a website, it can't be confirmed though.

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost a child while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three! names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.
Lincoln was shot at the theater named "Ford."
Kennedy was shot in a car called "Lincoln" made by "Ford."

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here's the "kicker":

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland.
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

and...

Lincoln was shot in a theater and the assassin ran to a warehouse.....
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and the assassin ran to a theater...

There's one more:

President Lincoln's secretary was named Mrs. Kennedy.
President Kennedy's secretary as named Mrs. Lincoln.

And both men had severe health problems

President Lincoln, according to a doctor friend, exhibits classic signs of Marfan Syndrome, a disease of the body's connective tissue that can leave one susceptible to a wide array of ailments (heart problems, etc.) President Lincoln was tall, with long arms and legs, emaciated, and extremely gaunt-looking. Classic signs.

President Kennedy's back problems and addiction to painkillers is well-documented. He also had Addison's Disease.

I have a theorie, but its irrelevant - It would be in the 1940's..

Well, the main concept of my theorie is that the US joined World War II only to stop communism from spreading throughout Europe. The cold war, infact, started before 1945. US joined the war after The Soviets won in Stalingrad (and were advancing into Europe). Their invasion to Eastern Europe (during the war) was successfull, also beacue the germans had to send many soldiers to the Italian and French front after losing North Africa. They Soviets easilly beat the retreating German army, and from a Nazi Europe, Washington was now scared of a Communist Europe. England, the strongest Democracy and the biggest Empire at the time was heavilly bombed by the Germans. France, another great democracy was captured. Even when the germans will retreat from Western Europe - People lost their hope in the democratic regime. The Pascifistic policy of France and UK before the war and the economical crisis at the time had a negative impact for the democracies - People, as said before, lost hope in the democratic regime and many searched for a strong leader to get them out of the mess (such as hitler), many started believing in Communism - all that made the US believe that if nothing will be done, Soviet forces will eventually conquer Europe from the Germans rulling communism over it.

DC was well aware of the upcoming attack in Pearl Harbor (A ship was even moved before the strike). Roosevelt knew he couldnt enter WW2 when people back home dont want to. So he let the Japanese attack Pearl Harbor - all that to stop Communism from reaching UK, France and the entire European continent making USSR the biggest strongest Empire in the World. Makes sence, doesnt it? USSR did capture Eastern Europe and built its Iron curtain there for decades. In Yalta and Potesdam Committees, USSR and the west were allready in conflict as to the future of Europe...

That's PRETTY good, if I hadn't seen it already 39285623190375420(x1000) times on the history channel. I've got a better one:

Thousands of years in the future, mankind stands on the brink of destruction. There is chaos everywhere-barbaric warriors so evil they burn the women and rape the crops, destroying everything in sight. There is looting, rioting, and defecation. The population is near-zero when a group of scientists in a cave finally invent the solution...time-travel.

Of course, by this time humans have evolved further along the lines we are evolving in this century-their eyes have grown larger (we are becoming more and more visually based as a species), their ears have grown smaller (who needs an ear to gather sound at a distance when you have headphones?), heads larger (bigger brains), and skin paler (video games=no outside time). You guessed it, evolved humans share an uncanny resemblance to aliens described by abductees and the tabloids that love them. However, the scientists in the cave with the time machine manage to perform enough plastic surgery on one of their own to resemble a man from ancient times. They load this man up with common articles of the time-bacta tanks, hover-boots, flashlights, etc. and send him far back into the past.

This man's name is Jesus.

This individual has but one mission-To impart upon the people of the time a code of moral values that will be followed in order to prevent the catastrophe of the future (with the barbarians and such). In order to impress the primitives of the time, Jesus performs miracles with the modern tools he brought with him, such as floating above water (imagine a hovercraft, but in sandal-form), healing the sick (even the medical technology of today would be sufficient to save someone in an unprecedented way to the people of that time) and sweeping people into the skies with a "chariot of fire" (spacecraft, anyone?). The people of that time, having not seen anything more fantastic than a lightning bolt or a stick, are shocked and awed by such feats and instantly Jesus becomes a celebrity. Using his influence, he spreads the word to "Do unto others as you would have done unto you" and similar messages until he "ascends back into the heavens" i.e. jumping back onto his spacecraft and blasting through time after a meticulously planned theatrical stunt where he fakes his death and resurrection (there are drugs that can make a person appear dead for hours and even days).

Unfortunately, the scientists of the future did not count on the human beings of the 21st century to be so adamant about destroying those moral codes set and upheld for so long by the technologically savvy Jesus. That's why they have to check in on us from time to time by abducting a hick and "probing" him. They try to keep a low-profile when time-travelling in order to avoid any Back to the Future-esque paradoxes that could destroy the entire universe.

I just made 8 dollars typing up this conspiracy theory...and my boss is none the wiser.

Okay, ignoring the blasphemy but for a moment...and the considerable amount of your audience that would have some religious grounding that might/would be offended, I had to look up 'bacta' via google. Found it to be a star wars reference. Not bad, again, aside from being blasphemous, but...since it is blasphemy, perhaps an equal-time provision for reading just one of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John,) would be a way to brush up on sociological skills that might allow for greater marketability.

Just a thought. Keep writing.
