did baby-o get diabetis from the pink coconut snowball???

i know he loved to eat the snowballs (pink coconut things)...did he get diabetis from those?

Probably not, since he was getting them from Poe. Unless prisons just pass out pink snowball treats willy-nilly, he couldn't have eaten that many.

You don't get diabetes from eating pink coconut snowballs. Baby O appeared to be a Type-1 Diabetic and although there is no known cause of the disease it likely isn't pink coconut snowballs.

Very impressive, Lone Starr. Too bad this isn't the Wild World of Sports.

Eating too much sugar can bring on diabetes down the road which is usually type 2. He was a type 1, and they obsessed with sugary snacks because they have to regulate how much they take in.

My nephew is in his 20s and has always been thin and athletic. Last year he started losing weight and scared the living hell out of us.

For no reason other than a fickle middle finger of fate, he's a diabetic. Just the way it is sometimes.

And I love those pink coconut snowballs!!

I know people with Type 2, which is quite common, and they certainly don't have the deal with insulin injection that he has. Perhaps he does as he is Type 1, but I have heard it said that this film gives a misleading picture of diabetes anyway.
