DVD release?
Awesome movie and the soundtrack just adds to the flow of the film.
Has anyone heard if this will be made available on DVD for America any time soon?

well, although this is the only comment posted to this movie so far, i hope someone who knows more about the movie can visit this site. i'm also having a hard time finding this movie, and would like to know if there is any way i can get my hands on it.

I haven't seen this movie in over 10 years when it was on Sundance Channel, I'm Craving a DVD with english subs.
shareI'm with you! I have the fondest memories of seeing this on Sundance in the late 90's. I may have a VHS copy of this somewhere in the archives...but that would require me to buy a VHS, upload and convert and all that. I'd much rather have a pristine digital copy. My French is unfortunately very poor, but apparently by googling 'Le ciel est à nous film' there exists a DVD edition...not on amazon.co.fr but on at least one other site I found. I will try to track this down and see if I can get a hold of a copy. Unfortunately there is no mention of subs, but per the reviewer the copy itself is a perfectly fine transfer. I'll let you fellow Shooting Stars fans know!
