Fantastic film

Wow, just watched this little known film and I was very impressed by it. It reminded me of Bergman's chamber dramas and had expert directing by Pacino. The real highlight however is the acting of Pacino and Jerry Orbach. Their chemistry is almost too good to be true. These are the kind of performances that really deserve attention and they put to shame the "mainstream great performances" that usually win Academy awards every year. To me, these are "real" performances compared to their more Hollywood counterparts.
