Great writing, brilliant acting!

I finally managed to get a copy of this recently and watched it last night. This is the type of film that gets made far too infrequently; although maybe that's a good thing, because when they do, and they are made well, they end up being perfect, and so satisfying.

It was amazing to see how a film, so basic, can have numerous layers and shifts in momentum.

I've seen on the boards that the writer of the screenplay, Ira Lewis, is on here, and has contributed with some posts. It's fantastic to see, and you clearly tell how much pride he has for the film.
