This movie was actually funny. I liked the subtle jokes. Like how they yelled at each other for an hour and then Pacino has that sweet conversation at the bar. There are better examples of humor in this, but it is a very smart movie. The characters were fully developed and the acting was amazing.
I'm an artist, wrote a book nobody bought, don't have any money, in real life. I do good work and have sheets over the windows. So I really appreciated this movie because it stands up for being a real artist which is next to impossible.
The conversation about coffee, the milk, that was funny too.
The ending was triumphant too, with the triumphant music and Pacino writing full of inspiration.
No matter if he had to wash dishes or walk through pigeons on the street, he was determined to be a writer, very inspiring.
