One of the greatest love stories ever told!

On film or in literature for that matter. I'm referring to the love story aspect of the film and only this aspect, but ever since I saw this film in my early 20's I have not been able to let it go in the back of my memory. It is a truly haunting and moving love story. There's only a few that come close in my mind...Total Eclipse with Dicapiro and Zhang Yimou's The Road Home.
