What is the opening song to the film...??????

I've been looking for the song in the opening of the movie and I can not figure out what song that is..... Please help me out....

The same director did Charlie's Family in 1995, which may or may not be the same film. I'm assuming that it is, since the 95 version was never released. Anyways the band Download (a side project of Skinny Puppy) did the soundtrack to the version that was completed in 1995.

ok, it is the same film. The copy I have is a work print that I got in 2000 and does not include the closing credits. The song isn't download afterall, but sounds very floydish. I highly recommend the score if you can find it. Metropolis records released it, but I think it's out of print. If you're interested, Ebay would be a great bet.

I'm not sure what the song is but it could be one of phil anselmo's many side projects because theres a huge list of them in the credits for the film as he partly funded the film. Or it could be one of Mansons own songs.

reply

stop trying to guess and don't answer if you don't know, it makes you sound stupid.

It's not manson, it might not be phils (but someone was talking about long hair by swinging anselmos but I can't find it) it may be Richard Sterling or Henrik Nielsen, The best way to check is see if they say it on the DVD commentary, if not, it might have been made just for the movie and may never be released. And you will only hear that small part of it.

Oh and for the guy who said it may be download, watch the movie before you comment you dumb idiot. It is clearly not download, that is way to tame for cEv or DRG to do.

The song is "Faded" by a band called Southern Isolation. They are listed in the films closing credits.

All the songs by Phil are not all different sideprojects, just him and making up a band name for every song!

except Superjoint Ritual obviously!!

I love Philip Anselmo, although Ive never heard music by some of his bands like Body and Blood and the disembodied they are real bands he was involved in. It's not the stupid idea "of making band names" to go with all the songs he's credited for in the film, dumbasss.

and southern isolation was/is a band that included anselmo and opal enthroned among others. read about it here - http://metal-archives.com/band.php?id=3559

if anyone wants a copy of the 2000 rough cut contact me through my website below.

Is Opal, Phil Anselmo's (ex?) wife and Phil on guitar. They released an album, I believe.

I thought "Long Hair" sounded like it would've been a cool song by the Swingin' Anselmos!

Anselmo is releasing the soundtrack for this movie sometime late 2008/early 2009 on his independent label Housecore Records. the myspace for his label is
