I´m thinking about buying the screenplay, saw it at amazon;

Anyone read it? saw that it was like 180 pages long (about 180min in movie format) so I guess that alot was cut out of the film before they finally realesed it.
I have it and read it way before I saw the movie. It came out long before the movie was released. The movie is long especially the directors cut. I don't think there is anything in the script that didn't make the directors cut. But the thing that I hate about the script, and this doesn't come across in the movie as well, is that Jim has the wrong manson family members saying things. Things that are already documented in interviews and the movie MANSON. It's always bugged me.
The book isn't worth it.
