just wondered if this would be released anywhere, or if it already has? i heard i while ago that boyle was having trouble getting this made, and at that time i thought it was a feature length film not a short.
it sounds cool anyway and would be nice to see!

shareOk, the only reason I know this is because I work for a movie co. The movie should be coming close to the end of this year. I am not sure on all the info, like how long, what it is rated, etc. But I am 98% possitive it will be showing somewhere in the US as a new release.

I read in Empire back in July 1998 that this film was in production and that the estimated release date was going to be 2000ish. what happened to make this film take so long to com out and then only come out on video???

i really need to know if this movie is ever goi9ng to be realeased as my dad is in the film, they filmed it on our farm and my dad had a part as an extra and it would be so cool to actually see it. we were told we would be kepot informed but not heard a think since.

i think the problem is that the movie is a short film, so, releasing a DVD with a 30 minutes film will probably be something not worthy for the producers.

I've never even heard of this movie and I love Danny Boyle's films. I guess it's still unreleased? How have people even seen it? Was it in theaters or festivals?
sharemiramax/dimension originally were going to make a 3 part scifi triogy and filmsed it as such. The other parts grew into full movies [impostor and mimic] so the 30min version remaining of the original movie is the original of this. Miramax/Dimension needs to release it in some form now because of the Weinstein's leaving.
At what length or as a completed feature I dont know, but that is why it has taken so long [basically the other 2 features did ok and really badly and they have a glut of terrible or just bad delayed movies to market and release

That is correct. There was a cinema in someone's back garden in Swansea that was a converted railway carriage. It has just closed and the premiere of Alien Love Triangle was the cinema's final performance.

Thirty years ago it would have been released as a support feature.
Occassionally some cinemas put a short film on with the main feature, but these films are usually less than ten minutes long, and sometimes less than five minutes.
5 years more passed since the last comments & still no trace of the thing whereever... Just curious, why the hell it's so damned hard to insert thi short as bonus in any forcoming picture of Boyle's?
