Yeah, she was supposed to. Darla Dimple seemed to be the Queen from Snow White in Shirley Temple's body. Think about it, in Snow White, the Queen tried to destroy Snow White because she knew Snow White was prettier then her. Same idea with Darla Dimple, she knew the animals could act circles around her, so she had to influence the directors, and spread propaganda to discredit them, because if any of the animals were ever to get a major part, people would realize how horrible her acting was, she would be exposed as the fraud she is, and her acting career would be destroyed.

hmmm. Darla Dimple... Shirley Temple. The names sound alike. Yeah, since the movie is supposed to take place in the 30's/40's, they might've based some of Darla's singing and dancing on Shirley Temple.

I love how the singer who does Darla Dimples singing voice plays the character Sally Shine in Disneys Tower of Terror film and Sally Shine is based on Shirley Temple
