sharei just watched it on film4 too, and it was like they had ticks. i didn't know wether they were slightly effected by something or the characters were ment to be like that, but it did seem like they had teurets ticks.
shareIt reminded me of when i was at college in the late 1980s....very much. Even the depressing lighting used to display that period had a horrible ring of truth about it. It reminded me of how dark and depressing that era was. The Cure music also helped reinforce that feeling too. I think the production designer did a great job of capturing the feel of the time. I forgot how being a teenager sucked!
