Ireland and the Cuban Missile Crisis

If the crisis had escalated would Ireland have become a target for Russian bombers?

I know Northern Ireland would have been (been part of the UK) but what about the Republic of Ireland? They were neutral in the Cold War but would they have been at threat?

Maybe Dublin but a small town like where Francie lived?
