Hilarious but socialist propaganda
This movie was hilarious; nonetheless, the juvenile socialist propaganda (Business is bad! Profit is evil! Let's subjugate our minds and our lives to government and society!) was all too transparent.

is this movie dated !!!!

I wonder if kmw-1 has changed their mind now with even conservative leaders who openly acknowledge how big businesses corrupt our legislative processes via campaign bribes and also by staffing industry execs on congressional committees.
It's not socialist propaganda is's not about right or left politics it's about objective truth and fairness. Most Americans believe in Democracy but it was not until as of lately that those americans have come to realize that we don't actually have one . America is a Capitalistic Republic.
It's incorrect to suggest that this movie is anti-business or pro-socialism. This movie is about one thing, the fact that American government is for sale. That government of, by and for the people is a myth. The movie asks a simple question, what would happen if a politician, completely corrupt, starts to tell the truth? A brilliant movie, imo.
shareNo, you're all too transparent. You want to be nothing more than a commodity, have at it. Not all countries devalue people in this way. It's just the only thing some people know in this country. Capitalism is propelled by propaganda. How else could people keep defending the same old dysfunctional system? Anything else that failed on such a regular basis would be discarded. You're being used and you don't even know it.
shareOh, boo hoo! It's not like you guys don't have tons of right-wing, pro-exploitation movies to watch.
