An Aesthetically Accomplished, Deeply Moving, Highly Original Work

My favourite film of all time.

reply

Yeah, I liked it as well. Only criticism for me is that it gets too sentimental in certain places. Like the scene with gallo and ricci on the doorstep in front of the house he grew up in.

By the way, what did you think of the brown bunny?

reply

I also love this movie.
Not perfect but a great movie.

As much as i tried to like it, wasn't a big fan of Brown Bunny.
I have only seen it once, I would to like to see it again to see if I have a
different opinion.

reply

Yeah, I liked it more the second time. It's just extremely stripped down, not something
I was used to. But interesting

Gallo is a decent actor.
He's just a little out there.

reply

You mean like when he is walking around Buffalo looking for a place to pee holding himself? I guess that was his way to tell us he had to go real bad but no adult walks around in public like that holding himself.

I like Gallo's over the top style.

That scene was deliberately over sentimental to set up the punchline. "Can you just hold me? ...Don't touch me!!"
