Finally saw (rented) it after much debate...

And it was a solid thriller! I have known about this movie for a while now, but didn't get around to watching it until today and I really enjoyed it. That scene at the bridge really had me at the edge of my seat.

Don't you know history repeats itself? Hmm Sid?- Scream 2

I've had that seen on the bridge stuck in my head for many years and couldn't remember what movie it was from, till I watched it again tonight. Very suspensefull. You can't really tell who to trust.

Absolutely. The people who say negative things about this movie seem to forget that this could indeed happen in real life.

If a woman is stupid enough to get in the truck of a complete stranger...

But to be fair, Red had the whole thing set up pretty darn good if you ask me. He had Earl pretty much harass/scare the daylights out of her and Jeff. You then have helpful Red Barr pull up and help them off the road. He isn't very pushy at all, and even calmly walks away after Jeff declined at first. Then when she does get into the truck you hear Red yet again ask was Jeff sure he didn't want to ride along. At that point in time Amy probably felt totally safe that he was just a good Samaritan just trying to do the right thing. Heck he even had me fooled. lol
