I just saw this movie last night; I borrowed it from a friend that bought it from the UK. I liked it a lot. I was wondering if anyone can tell me where was this film shot? was that a real reservation in the us? what city/state is it in? Anyway, like I said, great film!
shareI seem to recall someone mentioning it was filmed in Arizona, but I might be totally wrong. One website also mentioned California for some reason.
I'm sure it wasn't a real reservation though - that would've been too hard, too many people, they probably wouldn't have liked anyone filming them and so forth. But really, there just isn't enough information about the film to know.

ooh ooh I know! It was filmed in California. The parts that were "reservation" were filmed near Ridgecrest Ca in a little place called Red Mountain. The junk yard was completely fabricated. Well pretty much everything was built for the movie. There was like 1 or 2 little trailers there originally that you see in the movie. It was in the middle of the summer and it was disquistingly HOT!!!! I remember, I was there. I was Elpidia Carillo's Stand In. And even with the heat, it had some great moments. Like the time we were setting up a scene in the itty bitty little travel trailer that was their home and Johnny Depp was spritzing me with a water bottle to keep cool. EVERY GIRLS dream, right??!!
