shareOk, not sure what you last saw but the end is basically Danny fought in the UK, when he returned he when to the Brian Cox character (the IRA leader) and told him he was not leaving and not going hide his love for Brian Cox's daughter.
The recalcitrant IRA sub leader, forget his name, him and his crew boxed in a car with Danny, the woman and kid in it. They proceed to club Danny into submission then one guy (the one who had earlier said to Brian Cox, "I just follow orders) says lets do it proper. So they drive him to a tunnel so Brit choppers won't see it and put Danny on his knees. The one who suggested do it proper pulled a revolver, aimed it at back of Danny's head then shifted aim quickly and wasted the sub-leader who hated Danny. Then they all drove away.
The hit set up by the Brian Cox character. Boss is boss after all and the sub leader was just too rebellious and, well, frankly evil.

Did the sub-leader pull the trigger or did another leader kill the sub-leader to save Danny?It's one of the underlings who worked with both Harry (the pro-violence IRA member) and Joe (Maggie's father and the IRA leader trying to work out a peaceful resolution with the British).
As they put Danny against a wall the guy draws his gun and aims at the back of Danny's head but hesitates for a moment as Harry steps back from Danny, and then in a split second the guy points the gun at Harry and just shoots him, point-blank, in the head. Afterward they tell Danny to disappear and leave Harry's body laying in the tunnel where his wife eventually comes to find it afterward. share
