I only saw this movie once years ago and that was definitely a strange scene that made no sense to me. First of all it seems like a lot of excessive, unnecessary set up just to beat up a random "fag". It also makes zero sense to instruct a guy to masturbate in front of you for a good minute or so while "pretending" to be into it if again simply beating up a random "fag" is the goal.
