How much was in the bag at the donut shop?

I’ve always wondered about this too. I seriously doubt it.

It must've been enough to put Buck over the top. Maybe he just need a couple grand for inventory and then he could rent a place out with his savings? Maybe he just really went nuts in the months between the robbery and the store opening. Maybe it was just enough to bump up his down-payment and he found a bank willing to cover it?

It's the most unrealistic part of the movie, more so than the length of Dirk's diggler.
It's a funny shop, for Pete's sake, they aren't going to have 10's if thousands of dollars in cash, lol

It was probably enough for the down payment on a business loan as it was all the money in the safe.
