I do agree that this film is flawless. I can't think of another that I'd consider perfect other than 12 Angry Men.

I've yet to see that. I've seen Lumet's other work: Network, Serpico, and Dog Day Afternoon and I definitely enjoyed them. Hopefully this one turns out the same.

Pulp fiction. Apocalypse now . Silence of the lambs . Scar face . Trainspotting . Interstellar . 12 monkeys . Se7en . Back to the future . There will be blood . No country for old men . The big Lebowski . Of all the 1000 plus films I've rated over the years on imdb I've giving approx 20 films a 10/10.

PERFECT is a tough word for me; no matter how much Iove a movie I can usually find something that I would change, or that jars me the wrong way, or whatever, however...

If I had to make a list, I agree with you on several points for sure!

Stand By Me
The Shining

But I would add:

Picnic At Hanging Rock
Trainspotting

Yeah yeah, I know thats 11, sue me. (Actually 12 if you count GF 1 & 2 as 2 movies but if you want to get technical I'll call it 'The Godfather Epic' which I think in many circles is considered one film)

I haven't seen nor heard of 'Aparajito' but based on your other choices I have a feeling I would like it!

Ahh! 'Magnolia'!! How do I squeeze that one in too haha. Ok ok, top '12' it is!
