Why did Amber want Dirk to Cum inside her?

During their porno shoot

reply

My guess is because she was actually enjoying the sex instead of just looking at it as "her job". I mean, we all know she had a thing for Dirk...though it ended up manifesting itself as a mother/son kinda thing eventually

There are several possible reasons - most likely because it feels damn good (for her as much as him) and it is also more intimate. I think this scene is a nod to Short Cuts. In that film her character cheated on her husband. She swore it had no meaning by stating "I never let him cum inside me."

You must have missed her saying to him right then that she was fixed (so there was no danger of impregnating her), plus possibly she was trying to be nice so he would like her maybe, insecurity?

reply

Had nothing to do with ability to get pregnant - it was about getting the money shot versus a retake. She chose to do a retake for a specific reason - thus making it a valid question as to why she wanted him to cum inside her.

It was clear that early on Amber had strong feelings for Eddie/Dirk, and it wasn't just sex. If you've seen the movie, you can see that she's insecure because of things going on in her personal life, and manipulating a hot, young stud to please her both romantically and sexually was not difficult for her. She accomplished that by letting him finish inside of her, something that simply wasn't done in porn back in those days. If fact, if that were to truly happen back then, both actors probably would have gotten an earful from the director for wasting the "money shot".

It's pretty much never done in porn now either.

reply

Because she was enjoying it. In real life and with a partner you care for, the "money shot" isn't always the go-to finishing move.

Anyone here mentions Hotel California dies before the first line clears his lips.

reply

I always thought it was some sick thing about her mommy/baby issues.

I've always taken that scene to mean that she was slowly falling in love with him, thought the sex was great, and was willing to cross the line between acting/performing and lovemaking. She breaks character and lets her emotions and feelings for Eddie/Dirk influence her.

My week beats your year.
