I think that it would have been great if instead of John Goodman it would've been John Candy, if he hadn't died. He was in the first and it could've been easily worked into the plot.

Er, John Candy was dead before BB2K went into production, so your post is meaningless. Unless we're talking strictly hypothetically here.

I agree. Plus John Candy was already in a few movies with Akyroyd before-hand..if memory serves.

Yes he was. The Great Outdoors was an excellent movie.

He also appeared in 1941 which I loved, and Nothing But Trouble - which even though critics hated it, I loved that movie to pieces.
