this guy i know lent me this movie, telling me it was great, he also lent me another movie, tank girl, which i watched first, that movie just sucked, but SSS looked way better, so i watched it. . . .

in the middle of the movie, i told my girlfriend, "i don't know if i like this movie, or if i hate it" she agreed.

the first ten minutes, seemed to me, like they could of been someone's crazy dream. . . .i mean, we all have our crazy dreams. . .if you understand, you understand, if you don't, then don't worry about it

there of course seemed to be a tribute to Buddy Holly, and of course Elvis Costello. along with the wizard of oz. . . and maybe its just me, but Slash from Guns and roses seemed to be Death.

Also, this film reminded me, and my girlfriend, of a super campy Tarintino film. hell, they even used Pulp Fictions theme song.

all in all, for the rather originality of it, and the total "thats crazy" that i got, along with some GREAT lines, i liked this film and WILL have to watch it again

as weak as we are divided."

"hell, they even used Pulp Fictions theme song."
FYI...not a corection, Just some pointless stuff on the Music...

Pulp Fiction used Dick Dale's Miserlou...(Done in 1962)
SSS used Miserlou By the Red Elvises...(Done in 1998?)
ITS AN OLD GREEK FOLK TUNE!
The Red Elvises Did most of the Surf/Rockabilly music...infact the Movie Soundtrack is almost Identical to Red Elvises Surfin' in Siberia...
To say they used it, yes they did...
Sorry, I am a Surf Guitar lover...

Your accusing someone else of stealing Tarantinos music? Even though, as already posted, the miserlou is an old song, tarantino steals more *beep* then a kleptomaniac on speed. Sure, he makes enjoyable movies, and I'd rather watch his movies then the majority of crap that hollywood puts out, but do you even have any idea of how much stuff Tarantino rips off?

And dont say "its Just homageing". Some things are homages, like naming Sonny Chibas charecter Hattori Honzo, or using Bruce Lees "Game of Death" costume for the bride in the massacre in the tea house. An example of a rip-off is Resevoir Dogs, which, well bringing in many of its own things, is 'almost' exactly the same plot, situations, and events as the last 30 minutes of "City on Fire".
