Is BCB worth seeing?

I am a fan of Eric Mabius (who plays Shane) and Im just ordering this movie even though I havent seen it as Im in Australia so we dont have it here. Is this movie worth seeing if I am a fan of him? and does BCB have heaps of violence in it?

This movie was really good. I think it was based on a true story? maybe not, But i'm definately a fan of Eric's now and all the other actors did a great job.

My brother & I both went to high school with Ricky & the others involved. Ricky & his friends were nothing but our fellow dirtbag stoners. We all got high together on numerous occasions. I can tell you that these guys were not the 'devil worshippers' that lots of folks would like to believe; they just liked to get high & when they were all *beep* up one night they killed one of their friends because he stole some dust from Ricky. It's as plain & simple as that.

Yes. Its def not perfect. But neither is "Zapped Again" or any other highscool outcast film. Nevertheless, its not suppose to be Hemingway... Its kindof like "the craft" but with guys. Kindof

Ricky, in his own mind, was a true satanist. But the others were just following the acid king around for free drugs.

The question then stands, if Gary hadnt ripped him off, would he still be alive.

Yes, he would. Althought Ricky "sacrificed" Gary to his god, this murder happened because Larry was a punk and ripped him off.

"Satan in the Suburbs" is a good documentary on this. Has an interview with Jimmy Troiano.

"Ricky 6" is actually based on the true story, but choosing Vincent Kortheiser to play Ricky was a collosall mistake and ultimitaley brings the movie way down.

Eric Mabius would have been a much better choice.

I thought the cat thing was pretty bad. other than that, it wasn't hostel-esque

No, this movie is garbage. You're better off watching Troll 2.

why does everybody keep going on and on about the goddamn cat.
There is no graphic display of any harm done to a cat.
It just shows him swinging around an obvious prop cat with bad sound effects in the background.
Its not disturbing at all, and im a cat lover. wtf is wrong with people

no, it's not worth seeing at all. it's a horrible movie! but if you want to see an earlier work with eric mabius that is definitely worth seeing try Welcome to the Dollhouse... classic!

do yourself a favor and get this. I haven't seen this in years but I still remember the line: "WE NEED THE MESCALINE FOR THE *beep* BLOOD RITUAL" and TO THIS DAY I laugh every time i think about it.

Was there anything else to this film other than that line?

Im going to have to netflix it so I can re-live that moment. GOOD STUFF!!!

reply

Definitely worth seeing if you're a Eric Mabius fan. He was spectacular in this movie.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)
