Been watching this movie a lot again since it's been airing on cable again, and recently found the Blu Ray. Have never had the drink before, but started drinking, and enjoying the white Russian. I have noticed when drinking the drink and starting to feel the effect after the 2nd or more, the movie begins to hit a new level. Especially in some of the sequences of the film feel like it's part of a dream.
shareIt's a decent beverage. I can see why the Dude would like it; it's smooth and very easy going down, like he is.
However I find that creamy drinks like White Russians don't get too comfortable in the stomach when you mix them up with something else, like a few beers or something harder. It's a sipping drink that's best on it's own, without other booze going in to unsettle it.
If you're drinking White Russians, my advice is to stick with the White Russians, but yeah it's a tasty beverage, somewhat dessert like.
Pot is my preferred nighttime 'relaxation aide' and I don't drink much but I never thought about trying a white russian.. I'm going to try it and watch this movie as you suggested... I just noticed this movie on Amazon Prime I haven't seen it in a while! Good times!
