did this movie remind anyone of clerks. Mostly the scene where the guy that sold him the gun. When he is leaning against the wall. I dunno the feel and the dialogue and the overall look reminded me of clerks. Anyone else?

No...There was wwwaaayyyy too many scenery changes to even be compared to clerks. lol

But that aside, I don't feel any other connection to clerks besides the Wipporwill *beep* He does a mighty fine job being a dick in Clerks, he did well in this one too. I mean, the dialog is nowhere near what Clerks was. Clerks had no homicidal thoughts in it or even the type of social criticism A Better Place portrayed.

If it reminded me of anything, it's something like River's Edge.
Great fabulous movie, though. Shame not a lot of others haven't discovered it, or might be too much of a downer for them.
