any one else think...

that it's a tad unrealisitc how the kids treated him in school?

when i first came to america in freshmen year i knew almost no english, got the worst style of clothing, and totally did not fit in. but i was never pushed around at my locker or when i talked to someone they didn't completely dismiss me, and i observed none of the cruelty that was in the beggining of the film.

what place is this anyways? those kids are like something out of a cartoon. way too cruel to be realistic i think.

I think it depends what city/state you are in. This took place in New Jersey.

I've heard New jersey is pretty rough.

Vincent lived in new jersey for a long time so he probley knows.

I can't speak for America but I can for England. Schools over here (not near me thankfully, but i've left school so even better) have had new students and gave them so much *beep* that they've gone home and committed suicide, thats why when I watch this film I find it believable... just it's across the pond.

I <3 Dianna Agron!
