oh man! i totally agree... see.. boondock is my favorite movie of all time and him with an irish accent i thought was sexy but then i saw best men (since luke wilson and sean are in a movie and so are norman and luke wilson -- bad seed is the name of the norman reedus/luke wilson movie if ur interested) and i am a shakespeare FREAK so yeah... i liked that.

when he gives that monlogue in the street though... a tiny bit better than the to be or not to be even though that one sent shivers down my spine... but when hes all "what can we do!" i loooove that.

HAMLET! HAMLET! HAMLET!

"oh, and dad, *beep* YOU!"

Het is gewoon een lekker ding! meaning he's hot either way, quoting Shakespeare or not!

I agree with that. I thought the part in the street to his father was even better than the classic "To be or not to be" (which is overdone generally but actually worked with the film)...

I must say that I've never really liked Shakespeare, but I do now! LOL Sean is just incredible in everything he's in (he's the only reason I was able to sit through the otherwise horrible "Simply Irresistible"), and he's so great with accents and everything. My mom thought he was actually from Ireland!

Anyone else notice some slight similarities between "Best Men" and "Boondock Saints" in SPF's characters? For instance, he is always reciting Shakespeare in "Best Men," and in "Boondock," they recite the prayer and everything. And his characters do "bad" things (killing, robbing banks) but for the good of man. It's not like he was keeping the cash for himself when he robbed the bank. Who robs a bank to give the money to charities? The characters are both very likeable and funny in their own ways. But despite the similarities, he played them both completely differently. He's just amazing...

I'll forget about you long enough to forget why I need to...

Oh I so agree. I love him too.

I agree. Sean's an awesome actor and did a great job reciting the Shakespeare. I love the "to be or not to be" with the amazing closeups of his big blue eyes :) His english accent when robbing the bank is cute too.
